- 3 slices 100% whole wheat bread (toasted)
- ½ cup cottage cheese
Savory Toast Topping Ideas
- Sliced tomatoes, cucumber and/or avocado
- Microgreens, sprouts, onion slices, or fresh herbs
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Lemon juice, lime juice and/or vinegar
- Sea salt, freshly ground black pepper, and/or red pepper flakes
- Seeds, chia, hemp, sunflower and/or sesame seeds
Toast bread to desired crispiness. Let cool slightly, then spread cottage cheese evenly over the toasts.
