Classic Deviled Eggs

Classic Deviled Eggs are perfect for the holidays, Easter, potlucks, parties and all kinds of gatherings.

They’re easy to make, only have a handful of ingredients and most people love them!

Classic Deviled Eggs

Deviled eggs are the ultimate classic appetizer and finger food.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • ½ tablespoon prepared Dijon mustard (coarse ground)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Finely chopped green onions or chives, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Place the eggs in a single layer in a saucepan, cover with water and bring to a boil. Lower the heat to medium-low and simmer for 10 minutes. 
  • Transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool completely, then peel them.
  • Slice eggs in half lengthwise and remove yolks. Set whites aside.
  • Mash yolks with a fork in a small bowl. Stir in mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  • Stuff or pipe egg yolk mixture into egg whites.
  • Sprinkle with green onions or chives. Refrigerate until serving.
