What is healthy eating for me?
Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and pulses (legumes).
Eat sustainable meats, sometimes.
Drink plenty of water.
Have a glass of wine.
It is that simple!
Why “She wants to be good”?
Years ago, when our puppy-dog Tia was about a year old, we took her to a doggy day care. She is a very active dog and we wanted her to have fun playing with other dogs while we were working. One evening, I was picking her up and asked one of the employees “Did Tia have a good day?” The lady looked at me and said “She wants to be good”.
Sometimes I think it could be said about me in my journey to have a healthy lifestyle. But healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated or super restrictive. One very important thing I learned long time ago: the more you make from scratch the healthier you will be and the better you will feel.
All recipes I am sharing in this blog are fresh, flavorful, healthy (or healthy-ish) that I love to make and eat. If I wouldn’t eat it, I won’t put in on my blog.
