Air Fryer Flautas

Air Fryer Flautas

These Air Fryer Flautas are stuffed with chicken and cheese and make a great appetizer, meal or snack. They are quick and easy to make and loaded with your favorite Mexican flavors.

Flautas are a popular Mexican dish consisting of rolled tortillas filled with various ingredients such as shredded meat (typically chicken, beef, or pork), cheese, or beans. The filled tortillas are tightly rolled into a flute-like shape and then fried until they are crispy and golden brown.

Ingredients for this recipe

To make this recipe, you will need the following ingredients: cooked chicken, salsa (any type), Mexican-blend cheese, cream cheese, and whole wheat tortilla wraps (corn tortillas or low carb tortillas will work too).

Ingredients for this recipe

How to make Air Fryer Flautas

1. First, add shredded chicken, salsa, shredded cheese, and softened cream cheese to a bowl. Stir well until ingredients are thoroughly incorporated. Preheat air fryer to 380° F (if your air fryer requires).

2. Spoon 1-2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture horizontally across center of each tortilla. Cover the filling with bottom edge of tortilla and continue rolling until the tortilla is completely rolled. Set aside, seam-side down. Repeat until all flautas have been formed. Next, spray air the fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the flautas in your air fryer basket making one flat layer (working in batches if needed). Spray tops of tortillas with avocado oil cooking spray, then place basket in preheated air fryer.

3. Run the Air fryer at 380 degrees F for about 9 minutes or until the tortillas are golden brown and crispy. When ready, transfer flautas to a plate or a serving tray and repeat the process until all flautas have been air fried. Finally, top flautas with additional salsa, sour cream, hot sauce, queso, diced tomatoes and/or avocados and serve warm.

Air Fryer Frozen Pretzels

Air Fryer Frozen Pretzels

Air Fryer Frozen Pretzels are quick and easy, making them a perfect quick snack! You will have warm pretzels that everyone will love in just a few minutes.

Interesting fact: the word “pretzel” is thought to come from the Latin word “pretiola,” meaning “little reward” or from the German word “brezel” or “brezl,” referring to their twisted shape.

Ingredients

To make this recipe, you will need the following ingredients: frozen soft pretzels, water, and coarse kosher salt or cinnamon and sugar.

How to make Air Fryer Frozen Pretzels

1. Preheat air fryer to 325° F (if your air fryer requires). Brush tops of frozen pretzels lightly with water then sprinkle coarse salt or cinnamon/sugar. Next, place frozen pretzels in air fryer basket. Cook frozen at 330 degrees F for about 4 minutes.

2. Remove pretzels from air basket. With salt: serve warm with cheese sauce or mustard. With cinnamon and sugar: sprinkle with a little more sugar and serve warm.

Air frying is certainly a great way to prepare these frozen pretzels. This cooking method works whether you’re making jumbo twisted pretzels, pretzel bites, or soft pretzel sticks. Air fried frozen pretzel bites are great as a party appetizer but the air fried soft pretzels are the best snack at Oktoberfest or any occasion.

Air Fryer Acorn Squash

Air Fryer Acorn Squash

Air Fryer Acorn Squash is easy, healthy, and delicious. It has sweet, nutty flavor and delicious creamy texture.

Ingredients

To make this recipe, you will need the following ingredients: acorn squash, olive oil, salt, and pure maple syrup or honey (optional).

I love acorn squash and it’s perfect for fall evenings. Acorn squash is a type of winter squash known for its distinctive shape and sweet, nutty flavor. It belongs to the gourd family, which includes other popular squashes like butternut squash, pumpkin, and zucchini. There are many ways to enjoy acorn squash: air fried acorn squash, roasted acorn squash, stuffed acorn squash, mashed acorn squash, or acorn squash soup.

Acorn squash

How to make Air Fryer Acorn Squash

1. Wash the acorn squash. With a sharp knife, cut the squash in half. Next, use a spoon to scoop out and discard the seeds from acorn squash halves. Then, cut each half into four close in size pieces.

2. Place the acorn squash side down into the basket of the air fryer. Cook acorn squash at 330 degrees F for 20 minutes (preheat first, if your air fryer requires preheating).

3. Remove the squash, oil the insides of the squash, and sprinkle lightly with salt.  Next, place the squash, cut side up, back into the air fryer basket.  Air fry acorn squash at 400 degrees F for about 10 minutes more, or until the cut surface is browned and the inside of the squash is fork tender. Optionally, drizzle with pure maple syrup and serve.

Air fryer recipes are a delicious and healthy way to cook a wide range of foods without the need for excessive amounts of oil or butter. This easy acorn squash recipe is one of them. Most roasted acorn squash recipes use melted butter and brown sugar. But all you really need to make this squash yummy is a little bit of olive oil and pure maple syrup. You can also sprinkle some cinnamon as garnish.
