1. First, spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place bread in the air fryer basket. Using a drinking glass make an indent in the center of each bread piece. Use your fingers or a spoon to press down the center of the indent. Next, crack the egg into the center of the indent. It is ok if an egg white goes beyond the indent. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top.

2. Finally, place basket into the air fryer and cook at 350°F for 8 minutes. Remove toasts with a spatula. The eggs should be perfectly cooked with a runny yolk, and the bread will be nice and crispy. Serve it hot.

In a medium bowl whisk together the whole wheat flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda. In a separate large bowl, combine the honey, applesauce, milk, eggs, cooled coffee water and oil. Next, add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix to combine. Fold in walnuts and chocolate chips.

2. Pour cake batter into prepared 8×4 loaf pan. Optional: sprinkle with a handful of chips and walnuts on top.
